in my project login and sign up was working in google chrome,opera but login & sign up was not working in internet explorer

many times in my project that is in website testing i have got
crashes that is when i click on a link it displays server error this is a blocker defect or show stopper and it has to be fixed immediately

I was testing a VDi project and i was unable to connect the
machine (win 7) virtually with the server where as on XP its
working fine, then i realized that its the user rights
issue, on machine win 7 i did not have administrative right,
but my project should work fine with all the users, so it is
one of the major issue i have found

as a test engineer we wont fix the bugs but we just report the bug we maintain a separate buglist for the project which is given to the developers then developer fixes the bug & i change the status to close

What is White Box testing and who is responsible for white box testing?
There is only requirements document. You have 10 days and 8 resources to release the system.At the end of the 8th day u tell ur TL that system is ready for release. How will you proceed with the testing process or in other words what all approach you will follow once you get requirements
