Answer / deepika
The three terminals are M, L, C, V
M stands for main load, L for connecting load, C for common, V is for voltage
There are two coils - current coil is between M and L, potential coil is between C and V

'M' it connect one is voltge phase and 'M' to 'C' are inter
connect.
'L' it is used to connect load (or) energy meter.
'C' it is a capactive device is a support device.
'V' it is a voltage to connect transformer neutral and also
connect energy meter.
so they are not its named A,B,C,D.

We know that, in case if there is a faulty insulation,or sc, the current is bypassed to earth through the earth wire that has low resistance.Actually, what will happen to that current that flows through gnd?In that case,if we come in contact with that faulty appliance, wont that current flow through us as we form a closed path by standing in gnd?Is grounding a safety measure?
