600 to be seated.10benches are less.so 2 more persons are required to be seated in each bench.so ho..

Answer / thangavel

First i assume was how to get 600.
That is 60*10=600
given question is 10 bench is less than from available one.
then

60=available bench
10=student per seat

then i was sub 10 bench from available one so i got
50benches.Then i added 2 student per bench means

12 students per bench
so,finally
50*12=600{ (x-10)*12=600
x=50 then 50+10=60}

Answer / mamta

no of bench = x and no of student per bench = y
xy = 600

now 10 bench are less and we need to add 2 student per
bench so equation will be
(x-10)(y+2) = 600
xy+2x-10y-20 = 600
putting the value of xy
600+2x-10y-20 = 600
2x-10y = 20
x-5y = 10
putting value of x=600/y
y2+2y-120=0 i.e y=10, or y = -12
x = 60 ANSWER
