each.

Answer / rahul sharma
the methods of heat transfer are
1.conduction(which requires a material medium).eg:-heating
an "iron rod" from one end makes other end hot
2.convection :-we take the example of boiling of water in a
vessel, the water molecules at the bottom get heated and
hence rise up while the cooler molecules at top would come
down in place of hotter ones, this is convection.other
example is the "trade wind"
3.Radiation:-it means heat does not require any medium for
propagation.example :-rays of sun travelling from sun to
planets in vacuum.

1.conduction-hot metal connected to cold metal.
2.convection-rising of hot air upwards in atmosphere and
then cold air takes the space and again same process repeats.
3.radiation- no media required for this infrared rays from
sun reach to us.
