Answer / yojana pudale
Tere are 3 hydraulic coefficents namely, Cd(Coeff. of
discharge), Cc(coeff. of contraction),Cv.
Cd- 0.91-0.95
Cc- 0.95-0.98
Cv= Cc*Cd

Answer / manoj
Cd=coefficient of discharge
Cc=Coefficient of contraction
Cv=coefficient of variation
Cd=Cc*Cv
Cd can be between 0.6 to 0.8
In addition to this, there is another coeff. named as
coefficient of resistance, Cr. It can be defined as the
ratio of the loss of kinetic energy as the liquid flows
through the orifice and the actual kinetic energy possessed
by the flowing fluid.
Cr=((1/Cv^2)-1)

Like I have heard about timbering . what is this ? d) What are the rules for disposing off the excavated soil ? e) How the pipes that are used are being jointed? f) In case of cleaning on choks , is there any intermediate things provided? g) For foul gases any outlets are provided thru out length of pipeline? h) What is the flow digram like from houses thru small pipe to main pipeline than where main pipeline disposes wastage ? i) Any other thing that has to be kept in mind while calculating earth work for excavation like steps are made and other things? How earthwork is calculated in case of steps ? Pls. explain with a sketch. Regards,
