1 a+b+c or 1 a||b||c, what transformations shd be used for

I've one sequential file, That file contains millians of
Junk & CHAR recoreds example

,,,,,...,,,.....,.,.INFOSYS.....,,,,,,,,,,,WIPRO...........,
,...,..,.
My questions is : I want omit the 44th posstion to 4 CHAR
(WIPRO) remaining things I want output file (including Junk
CHAR also)...
How can we slove this problem & give me a syntax.
Please provide the result as soon as possible.
My JCL contains four steps
//STP1 A(+1), DISP = NEW
//STP2 A(+2), DISP = NEW
//STP3 A(+3), DISP = NEW
//STP4 A(+1), DISP = OLD
STP3 was abended and I want restart my JCL from STP3 onwards
& what are the precaution I want to take & what are the
changes I need to make. Pls let me know.
